• BANKS: We have worked with Chicago-area community banks in the following areas:  Acting as broker to handle the sale of assets (we have teamed up with national and local investment brokerage firms to maximize value); acting as a court-appointed receiver on both residential and commercial properties, assessing and developing strategies for the entire REO portfolio; hiring and managing third-party property management teams; managing and completing the construction/renovation of unfinished development projects; and overseeing the conversion of a newly constructed condominium projects to rental apartment units until the market warrants sales of units. Overall, we have the ability to act as a bank's real estate arm with a high level of real estate expertise, but without the overhead and expense of adding full-time employees.  This allows our bank clients to free up their time to do what they do best--be bankers, while knowing their real estate portfolios are being skillfully managed by highly experienced real estate professionals.
• PRIVATE FUNDS & OWNERS:  We have provided strategic acquisition and due diligence expertise for real estate private equity funds that pursued opportunistic, distressed real estate investments throughout the U.S. ranging up to $40 million.
